Tot Shabbat
Shabbat, Mar 7th 10:00a to 10:30aCome pray and play! Tot Shabbat meets in the Library for a tot sized service (read: short!) followed by challah, grape juice and a snack before heading to the gym or E.B. Hirsh Early Childhood Center playground for open play. Tot Shabbat is for families with children birth through Pre-K plus their siblings. Private Reception and Document Viewing
Tuesday, Mar 10th 7:00p to 9:00pJoin Rabbi Busch and Eric Eisner (Graduate Student at Johns Hopkins University) at the Jewish Museum of Maryland for a pre-exhibit opening regarding Maryland Jewish history. We will enjoy a private, interpreted viewing of documents related to Maryland’s earliest Jewish history (which build towards BHC’s founding).
Family Shabbat
Friday, Mar 13th 6:15p to 8:00pFamily Shabbat is a service and dinner geared towards families with children in Kindergarten through High School. The Family Shabbat service is welcome to all, and a great opportunity to gather for an accessible Shabbat evening service with joyful music and readings. Free and fun dinner is provided for families following the Service. Dinner requires RSVP and is intended for school age families. Dinner is generously funded by the Lois Rosenfield Caring Fund. Service open to all.
Playing With Your Words Writing Workshop
Wednesday, Mar 18th 1:00p to 3:00pJoin us for an uplifting, hands-on poetry workshop inspired by the beauty of the world around us and by Cantor Karen Webber’s poetry collection, Vessels of Light. Together, we’ll explore creative expression and write our own poems. No previous writing experience required!

Music & Meaning Concert: Four-Hand Piano Trio
Tuesday, Apr 21st 7:00p to 9:00pAmiciMusic returns for another “Music and Meaning” concert Tuesday, April 21 at 7 pm. The concert features pianist/Artistic Director Daniel Weiser along with three international performers who have won numerous prizes around the world--violinist Vadim Tchijik from France/Russia, cellist Jacques-Pierre Malan from South Africa, and pianist Francesco Cipolleta from Italy. The concert, entitled “Four-Hand Piano Trio,” features some unique and powerful works for violin, cello, and four-hand piano, including two Sonatas by the Romantic German composer Hermann Berens. This all-star group will also perform some fun arrangements of the “Hungarian Dances” by Brahms and the “2nd Hungarian Rhapsody” by Liszt. These free programs are made possible with a generous gift from the Peggy and Yale Gordon Trust.
