Artist Statements:
Elizabeth Cadwalader is a Baltimore-based painter who began her studies in the 1970s in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and returned to her studio practice in 2001. Working primarily in oil and watercolor, she creates landscapes, still lifes, interiors, and monoprints. Her work is known for its expressive, gestural style and adventurous use of color.

Erin Friedman is a Bethesda-based abstract artist trained in painting and design. She creates layered works using poured acrylics, oil sticks, charcoal, and raw canvas. Her intuitive process builds textured surfaces that explore emotional tension and calm through movement, revision, and response.
