Sisterhood Closing Event

Join us for Sisterhood’s Closing Meeting with installation of new officers and board members. Baltimore Hebrew Congregation Sisterhood invites you to share a delightful afternoon with Baltimore historian and educator Wayne R. Schaumburg for an illustrated program entitled “The Feminine Touch: Women in Baltimore History.” The talk will focus on the period from 1776 to 1950 and will include both famous and not-so-famous women who have contributed to our city’s development. They include Mary Katherine Goddard, Betsy Patterson, Mary Pickersgill, Mary Elizabeth Lange, Henrietta Szold, Mary Elizabeth Garrett, Etta Haynie Maddox, Lillie Carroll Jackson, the Cone sisters, and many others.
