BHC is a proud member of the national Union for Reform Judaism (URJ). This year, please join us, Bolton Street Synagogue (a brand new member of the URJ), Har Sinai Congregation and Temple Oheb Shalom for URJ Shabbat at Har Sinai Congregation, 2905 Walnut Avenue, Owings Mills, on Friday, January 26, 6:15 pm. The evening’s sermon will be delivered by Rabbi Jonah Pesner, Director of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism and Senior Vice President of the URJ. Rabbi Pesner’s sermon topic will be “Prophetic Power & Politics: How Reform Jews Can Confront the Fierce Urgency of Now and Covenant to Create a More Just World.” On Friday, January 26, BHC will participate in this URJ Shabbat and also hold a service at BHC at the same time, 6:15 pm.
