BHC Cares will host STAY Shabbat (Shabbat that is about you) on Saturday, March 30, following 10 am Shabbat Shelanu. STAY Shabbat allows us to come together and make our community more intimate through convivial conversation and connection. A STAY Kiddush provides delicious food and includes a speaker and friendly discussion. This time, Nicki Stratford, Coordinator of Engagement and Programming, along with a representative from Jewish Volunteer Services will talk about opportunities for volunteering, and how volunteering can help not only the recipient but those who choose to volunteer. Volunteering is “giving and getting.” We will explore ways to volunteer as a family, as volunteering is an important part of BHC Cares and of our lives. There is no charge for this program, and all are welcome to attend. INFO: Carol J. Caplan, BHC Cares Chair, 410-764-1587, ext. 270 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
