Welcoming the next generation

In a world that bombards children (and adults!) with promises of instant gratification and constant distraction, Shabbat offers a much needed break. Tot Shabbat and Family Shabbat services provide age-appropriate, participatory experiences for the youngest members of our community.

Through song and storytelling kids and their grown-ups have a chance to engage their bodies and their souls in the joy of Shabbat and the power of rest (or at least rest-from-the-screen).

Tot Shabbat is on the first Saturday of each month. It is geared for families with children under 5, and their siblings or friends. We meet for a short, song filled service, followed by snacks and play time!

Family Shabbat is on the second Friday of each month. It is geared for families with children in elementary and middle school.

While we offer these services specifically for families, we believe all of our services are accessible for your whole family! We hope you will join us for these services, and others too.
