The High Holy Days are a sacred and inspiring time at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, a season of reflection, renewal, and connection.

We know you’ll find our community welcoming, and  many opportunities to reflect, pray, and begin the year together.

High Holy Day Services:

For main services during High Holy Days at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, we offer family services in our Strauss auditorium, that are slightly shorter and more attuned to families with kids under 12, and our traditional services, this year in our Dalsheimer Auditorium. Families with children under 5 are welcome to attend our Tots Services, offered on both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur at 9 am. Our signature Rosh Hashanah Under the Stars service at Oregon Ridge Park on Erev Rosh Hashanah kicks off our High Holy Days together.

Tickets:

Tickets to our High Holy Day services are automatically mailed to all of our members in good standing, AND, we do not want to turn anyone away from joining our worship. If you would like a ticket, be in touch with jhess@baltimorehebrew.org and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Reciprocity: If you are attending services at BHC from another Reform congregation, or if you are a BHC member attending services at another Reform congregation and need reciprocity forms filled out, please send them to Francie Gill: fgill@baltimorehebrew.org

Babysitting:

We are proud to offer babysitting for families with children 2-6 years of age during our morning services on both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, conveniently following our 9 am Tot Services, at E.B. Hirsh Early Childhood Center.

We do ask you register for babysitting by September 15th, here.

Reach out to Julie Wohl, jwohl@baltimorehebrew.org, with any questions.

Streaming

While we hope you will be able to join us in person, we understand many cannot. All of our services can be found on our
